Responsibilities for this Position |
|
- Job Description
- Your job as a bell attendant is to do whatever is necessary within your area to guarantee that all guests who are staying with us are happy, eager to return, and confident to recommend us to others. You are expected to be a “team player”, anticipate guest needs, and provide guests with a fun and friendly atmosphere. You are to greet and escort our guests to their rooms in a friendly, courteous manner, provide assistance with luggage, introduce guests to the features of their room, provide directions, and answer basic questions. Keep the lobby and entrance clean and attractive by bringing any problems to the attention of the lobby porter or housekeeping. Smile and have fun while providing our guests with quality service.
- Your Primary Jobs:
- 1.Greet guests immediately upon arrival in a warm friendly manner, introduce yourself and making them feel welcome.
- 2.Provide assistance with luggage, room orientation, directions, etc.
- 3.Be aware of and alert to your surroundings.
- 4.Show off your hotel and make our guests feel at home.
- 5.Assist guests with their departure and invite them to return soon.
- The Start of your Day:
- 1.Meet with the supervisor, review the logbook, print an in-house guest list and address any issues that pertain to service and guest satisfaction.
- 2.Familiarize yourself with the days in-house meetings, functions, and groups.
- 3.Check the days arrival/departure counts and hotel occupancy level.
- 4.Keep your work area clean and properly equipped, reporting any problems to housekeeping.
- 5.Familiarize yourself with the names of all VIPs in-house, arriving and departing.
- The Close of your Day:
- 1.Complete all of your guest request or tasks.
- 2.Store and secure all supplies and equipment.
- 3.Verbally pass along all appropriate information to the supervisor, and appropriately enter it into the daily log.
- 4.Leave your work area in a clean, organized, properly equipped, and professional looking manner.
- 5.Check out with the manager on duty.

Job Requirements |
|
- Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Technical Requirements:
- Local applicants will be considered first.
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Requires strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must meet grooming standards.
- We provide a substance free environment. Substance testing is mandatory.
- Meet/exceed customer expectations.
- Must meet or exceed the team expectations.
- An energetic personality.
Educational Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent.
